What to do:

Sitting Bull talks about it all the time (just today, even). Link contained in his sig.

What not to do: Expect "every ounce of hp" to be all that much. TPI is going to limit power a lot more than the heads.

i did searchs on it, i know the basics, gasket matching, bowl blending, polishing the exhaust port, polishing the chamber, deshrouding the valves. but i want pics and first hand info from knowledgable members on exactly where and how to deshroud, i think i have to use a protractor, stuff like that, information on under cut valves, and pictures on exactly how a worked bowl should look like, certain areas of the heads that can be improved that most people dont touch, just about any tip or trick to help me out with these things. i could just look at a pic of someone elses heads and make mine look the same, but im not really gaining any knowledge from that, kind of like copying someones test, the outcome maybe be great, but u didnt learn a damn thing. also i wont be running a GM TPI setup.

if u have any sites, link me up.

This thread shows some pics of some nicely done ports, if that's helpful at all.

The same instructions w/photos are included in their deluxe porting kit in poster form. I tacked it over the bench while doing the work. The head they used just happened to be a 305 head.

Most people find that carbide burr & tree bits also come in handy, in addition to what's in the kit.

I found This book to be a pretty big help last winter when I ported a set of 416 heads.
