Fuel Hose Clamps

For those of you that have upgraded/replaced your intank fuel pumps; did you reuse the original hose from the pump to the metal line, or did you use the hose supplied with the pump?

I've been chasing what I believe is a fuel delivery problem.

Today, I dropped the tank to investigate. The hose that was supplied with the Walboro pump was used, along with the supplied worm clamps.

It appears that the worm clamp was overtightened where the rubber line attaches to the metal line and the hose looks chewed up.

I know GM uses a plastic clamp originally, but the GM hose is much larger diameter.

Would it be better to use a new replacement GM hose and clamps, or use the supplied hose and worm clamps.

Also, would it be better to use a hose originally designed for a TPI application that is designed for higher pressures? By chance, anyone with p/n's?

I don't want to drop the tank again

I always use the expensive high pressure efi hose. Peace of mind and it seems to hold up a bit better than the low pressure stuff. Like you said once and done when it involves dropping the tank! I also double clamp all pressure and return lines. May be **** but I sleep better knowing I did.
