Couple of Questions,
Approxmiate stall speed ?
Wich S10's? 2.8, 4.3 Ect ?
S10' Blazers as well ? 4wd 2wd...
Price and Source, new ?

Check out the DBLF (factory alpha code) from a '95 or newer L35 S10 truck. The lug and bolt pattern is the same at the original on teh TH700-R4, and the lockup feature is standard. Oh, yeah, the stall speed rating is incresed from 1,600 to 2,050 RPM, and that's the rating behind the V-6 engine. You'll likely get more of an RPM rise with a healthy V-8, possibly more like 2,400 RPM. You can get a factory remanufactured unit from the GM dealer (with warranty) for about $200.00. You'll have to surrender your original converter as a core, but who cares?

Thanks Vader and RD, Since the Yards around here Don't seem to like to pick up new cars, I will probrably go to GM direct. that stall is about in the right range for my Motor, Should be a nice Cheap alternative.
of course, Since this Wont be till I get the Finances back in the green, I will haven plenty of time to scope out the yards for one at a good price
