Did you check all the fuses in the fusebox? I wired up my fan switch to my fuse box on one of the empty spots and blew the fuse to the radio for some reason. Maybe you blew a fusible link. I don't know about your car, but mine has six of them, three are coming off the starter, the other three are around the firewall. I'd start there.

My guess is from the battery up. take the autometer guage fuse out then check the battery terminals cables. maybe somthing like that got fried. It kinda wierd though that you fuse was still intact.??????. I would think that if the autometer guage was wired inproperly the fuese would have blown. If your battery and leads from the battery are good then its possible that the power distribution center "love these tecish words
" AKA fuse block is cooked. ther are only a few screws that hold this in so just unscrew it and see if the leads into it have juice. If the leads have power than the "PDC" is cooked.
Good Luck and I hope its somthing simple.
