Flooding problem... I think

I've got a '92 RS that just had the 305 replaced with a 350. Kept the same TBI on it. Now it floods all the time. Dies at take off, smells of gasoline, you know... Was wondering if anyone had an idea of how to get this thing running correctly again?

Have you plugged a scanner into it?? Might be rather informative. Coolant temp sensors have been known to cause this type of behavior.

Coolant Temperature Sensor, Oxygen Sensor, carb not tuned right, or leaky injectors (cant remember if you said carb or FI sorry)... if it's FI then you need a chip burnt to 350 specs to go along with your new cubes.

BTW, how much did it cost you for the 350 swap? Did you just take the block and bottom end from a junkyard and put the new motor mounts and top end and accessories on it to save money?

I'm thinking about doing the swap if my bottom end is toast, and I wanna know what I'm getting my wallet into

No, haven't plugged a scanner into it.

Engine swap cost me $850... don't recall if the bottom end was swapped or not... I'm thinking it wasn't.

Guess I'll try the coolant temp sensor first... Thanks for the info guys.
