ran out of gas
I just ran car out of gas into my driveway. Had two a couple gallons of good gas I put in. Now it starts hard and will only run for 10-30 seconds and die. The fuel pump seems quieter. Does a tpi car need something done to it to get started again after it has run out of gas. Or did my fuel pump crap out at the same time?

You might want to check the fuel filter, it's probably clogged with all the crud at the bottom of the tank that got sucked up when you ran empty.

TPI pumps use the fuel to cool it down, you very well could have burned your fuel pump out, it's always a good idea to keep atleast a 1/4 of a tank in your car when you decide to fill it up for this exact reason.
