My A/C compressor is always on. It cycles but even in defrost, vent, and off you can feel cold air coming out. It is a pain cause when chilly out I have to unplug the compressor to keep it off. What do you guys think. Thanks.

 

It's supposed to be on in Max A/C, A/C, Bi-Level, and Defrost.

But not Heat, Vent, & Off.

I'd suspect your A/C control head is fornicated.

 

Could also be the high current contacts in the relay fused together. Gotta pull out the DVOM and start tracing the circuit back

 

There's no "relay".... just the switch.
