Clean around Plugs

dump question, but what do you guys do to clean the dirt out from around the spark plugs? Sometimes it is got some oil mixed in so AIR doesn't always seem to get it. Plus it is a bear to get AIR to some of the plugs. I wouldn't worry about it much but when i change plugs I can feel a few crusties in the hole and I don't want to get them in the cylinders.

I figured that you guys who build engines blindfolded would have a slick way of doing this.

thought appreciated,
phil

I modified one of my air handles (or whatever ya wanna call it) with a peice of brake line, kinda bent on the end. Makes it easy to get into the more "hidden" spots. Works great.
