Looking for a block heater, any tips?

Anyone know any online places or somesuch where I could find a block heater for a 1991 GTA? Winter's coming to Finland and it gets real cold up here.

Ebay. Here's one for $5.00: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW. Looks like they'll ship worldwide - email them for a quote.

I put a 350 with a factory-installed block heater (same type/model as the e-bay ad) into my RS. It was fine for about 1 year until the engine revved to 6500 RPM and the rubber seal on the heater blew out and drained all my coolant. Fortunately, I was only 1/8 mile from home so was able to make it back without too much trouble.

I imagine under normal driving conditions it would work fine as the 350 Ii put in my car was in a cop car caprice that no doubt saw its share of hard driving durings its 5000 mile stint in the cop car (copcar was rear-ended and engine pulled).

Problem is I don't know any of that stuff, all I know is what my RPO sheet tells me, which is: "K68 = GENERATOR,105 AMP"

I don't even know what part number it has so searching isn't easy either. Thought about buying a new one too from some other company but I'm not sure what to look for or what'll fit.

Here's a pic of the engine, alternator in clear sight, maybe it'll help?

Did a search for CS130 and from the looks of it, thats what it is:

I want to say that you ahve the CS-130 casing. Not 100% sure.

If so, eBay strikes again:

They're also like less than $10 at a parts store.

Yes any average american part store no doubt, hard to come by in Finland, gotta drive to any of the larger part stores and hope, likely in vain, that they have something or place an order with a workshop specializing in american cars.

I've been looking into this and I'm pretty sure that my alternator is a CS-130, gonna see if the seller is willing to ship outside the US.
