Go to a parts store and look up what the stock plugs are for an '87 Corvette. If nothing else, you'll have a plug to start from that way.

The problem is that I have gone to 3 different parts stores and look tgroughout the net and some say use the Ac Rapid Fire 1's while others say use the Rapid fire 5's. The casting # on the head is #1000832113. So which are the right plugs???

anyone?

According to AC Delco's online parts catalog, the '87 Corvette takes the Rapid Fire #5's. These are a gasketed plug, which the aluminum Vette heads of this vintage uses.

The proper plug for the '113 head has a 3/4" reach, a gasketed seat, and the 5/8" hex. The Autolite #3926 plug is correct. Can check a cross reference and/or physical form in order to get the correct Rapidfire.
