While passing a car yesterday, i pushed my little 305 real hard. Ever since then, I have this really bad deiseling problem every time i punch it? I still have a lot of power,she idles really nice,and holds a solid RPM.What did I break to cause a knock when putting her down?

What probably happend is a conaminate passed through the fuel filter and got stuck in the carb or an injector. Most likely it will pass through and the problem will go away. You should change your fuel filter and ad an cleaner additive to your fuel to speed up the cleaning process. 44k works excellent but a cheaper additive will probably work well also.

you could have broken a piece of carbon loose also, that can make the engine do strange things.

 

Yup! I just had bad gas. Thats all!
