I was priming my motor last night and after just a few minutes I got oil flow through all but the rockers for cylinders 1 and 3. I primed it for another 45 minutes and no oil there. Any ideas? Should I crank (by hand) the motor over 180* and try again, will that help? Seems that these 4 lifters on 1 & 3 are not priming.

You could try that.I just got my new motor in and for a few days I had a clatter because a lifter didn't want to stay pumped,I would rap it up a little and it would quit, then I would kill it start it and it would knock again but she finaly quit.I would suggest the ole fashion way put the starter to it crank it over and start it, some lifters are harder to prime than others. If they don't prime replace them.

I primed my engine for 10 minutes then turned the engine over by hand 180 degrees and primed it for another 10 minutes. all my lifters were showing oil by then. You may want to check the pushrods to make sure they're not clogged or anything.
