I have a 89 formula. Ok no prob. there. But the people that had the car befor me had the factory engine pulled out. Well I had the intake off and I found out that I have a roller cam and lifters. Did the LO3 come out with these options? Besides pulling the heads how can I find out what engine I have? What engines come out with factory roller parts? HELP

87 up engines are roller engines in f-bodies... all of them.

Get the numbers off the block, theres one in the back by the bellhousing, and theres a pad on the passenger side just in front of the cylinder head that some people can translate.

 

The Boss that the waterpump Bolts too Should have a # cast Into it, Post it here and we shall take care of Ye.
