brake squeek being a pain plz help!!

My front driver side brakes started squeeking a couple days ago and i took the tire off checked for wear on the pads and they were good. Rubbed some anti-squeak gel on the pads and made the rotor turn and no squeak. Put the tire on and started driving down the road. Started squeaking. Pulled it up in the garage and put more anti-squeak on. Drove around and no noises last night. Was raining today and pulled it out of the garage to come to school and was fine for about 5 minutes then the squeak started again!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

This is happening on the right wheel of my LS1 rear end. I've discovered that the piston is sticking and the caliper needs to be replaced. That's probably what part of my next check is going to

check if your "dummy tab" (as I like to call it) is bent down too far and causing the squeeking noise. Otherwise I'd suspect a sticking piston.

possibility that the pads are glazed over......

or stuck piston on the caliper...
