305 TPI Help?????
305 TPI Help?????
I'm getting a new 305 engine to replace my old and I'm wondering is there anything I can do to make it put out a little more power..I have a TPI setup....If that helps......

Must you get another one? 
You could put a 350 in just as easily, but if you must use another 305 then you could bore the cylinders and put a larger stroke crank into it. I think you can add another 30+ ci that way. About the same thing with an even larger stroke would make a 350 into a 383, though.
Keeping the old heads? You might as well have some work done while they are out.

If you upgrade to a 350, isn't there ECM jive you gotta change or something like that to keep the check engine light from harassing you?
