Spark plug questions

My engine info is provided to the left. I know I should get acdelcos or ngks, but I'm wondering what heat range to use on my engine (considering I have aluminum heads) and how much I should torque them into the edelbrock performers.

I would think you could just follow Edelbrock's recommendation (which I didn't find in a quick look at their website). It's a function of the head more than anything else (as long as you're NA, anyway).

I can't seem to find anything on their page. Chamber volume is 60cc, so I assume the CR is around 9.8:1. The previous owner had this engine built, so unfortunately I know nothing about the bottom end.

What's the area like where the plugs seats agasint the head? Is it a tapered seat-kinda looks like the spark plug hole is beveld or is it just flat. 2 different types of plugs 1 tapered seat the other will have a gasket seat.

How much reach is needed so it comes through into the combustion chamber, plugs vary from .375-.750 reach, projected tip and non-projected tip.

You should call edelbrock and see what they have to say for plug style, then you can always aask them about plugs to run also. Just a few phone calls will get you exactly what you need so you dont take a chance of breaking plugs, pistons, or burning stuff up internally.
