I was pulling the intake today to look for the vacuum leak, and i noticed hey my EGR isnt all the way on...i tried tightening it but the bolt hole is stripped. Could this be causing my stalling and none-idline condition? After this its going to paradise chevy by me to get the speedo done, all the emissions hoses and egr controller replaced, get a new MAF system and TPS, then more...so i need it to make about a 30 minute drive on the freeway. I know the emissions is causing some of the problem, but could this be causing the non-driving problem? help me!

yes it could, of the 2 passages on the EGR valve, one is a BIG vacuum leak if exposed. The other is an ex. leak.
