lack of speedometer.
heyi have a 91 v-6 maro i picked up for the winter and the speedo only works when the car is well warmed up. in cold weather it never comes on and only about a 10th of the time in warm weather. where do you think the problem is? i have checked the gauge cluster in my good car and its fine.
im thinking vss? wires? the trans mount is busted so maybe something got yanked ot when it jumped (and it jumps!).
the car is raunchy,, no heater, pass window cant be let down it doesnt go up again, mirrors dont move, center mirror is gone, driver floorboards are gone, and over 300,000 miles clocked on the odometer which hasnt read a mile in over a year! this thing is a tank it starts so easy and just purs along..

is the gear in the tranny that the vss reads off of sticking somehow..????
