Is the fan belt going around the power steering pump still? maybe some fluid dripped onto the pulleys when you filled it and it helped it fly off.... I would check there first

ok i checked under the hood this morning and the belts were fine they were in place but i noticed somthing i took out the dip stick to see if there was any power steering fluid and there was none! there was a fresh puddle of the Power steering fluid on the street right below the box could this be the hoses? i checked for a lil bit couldnt really see how it could be leakin but i think it should be the hoses wat do u think ?? and is it easy/ cheap to fix ?

Yeah, its probably the pressure hose that has gone. I had one sheer off of the pump (looked like it was still connected but if you pour fluid in it, it poured straight out ).

The pressure hose will run you around 20$ or so at a local parts store. Just make sure you put the O-rings on the end of the lines. You would be suprised how many people come back to me (at advance) with hoses saying they leak...of course they didn't install it right.
