I suggest you review the punishments for causing an accident on the autobahn.

Also suggest you review the average idiot driver in the US (don't exclude yourself) vs europe.

I also installed an msd 6A could this have anything to do with it
Remember 'kairles' original guestion everyone. A debate on the morality of speeding and of German law relating to behaviour on the autobahn really isn't indicated.

Regardless, of personal opinions on this guys behaviour does it really help answer his query in a tech thirdgen related way?

1 in 4 motorists do not have insurance in the state of california. Running from the police? Bad idea...I dont want to sound like a hypocrit because I have actually done it myself...twice. I was on my gsxr 750 (does actually do 170 stock). Passed the cop doing a lil over 100, saw him pull out as i passed him (both times) just smashed off because over 100 they can automatically tow you're bike/car. Anywayz couldnt have been more than a mile down the road there was already a sheriff sitting on the side waiting 4 me. Freaked me out. Long story short, i got off the nearest offramp I could when they were out of site and just was kool for an hour or 2. Anywayz I wouldnt do it again, its just stupid. Minimum 10k fine, guranteed impoundment of your vehical and arrest. Only thing that I can really say is, on a motorcycle the only person you are really endangering is yourself. None the less it was stupid. Just be smart people.

And that's probably the best advice yet (having been there myself). Even if it isn't, it will be the last advice.
