Matt Needs help . Tranny temp guage all wacked out.
I just installed an autometer trans temp guage I hook up evertyhing and turn ign on and wham the needle shoots to redline. Whats going on wrong? BTW Car is ice cold.

It sounds like either your sender has a bad ground or an open circuit somewhere between the sender and the gauge.
