cruise control help

hey guys i have a question i figured you all coujld help me with. when i was replacing my burnt out dash not long ago my cruise control suddenly stoped working, i have checked all of the wire under the horn cap and they are connected.. can you guys help me with any common problems you guys have had becuase it would be nice to get it working again for the long cruises.

the small wires from the switch that go through the column often get broke, i'd check for a complete circuit there.

Cruise control module on passenger side inside dash, just below the speaker beside the computer. Little black box the size of a pack of cigarettes. Check wiring and connectors on this.
