AIR pipe routing

I can't seem to remember the routing of the air pipe that connects the two exhaust manifolds. What does it go under/over/behind/in front of?

Car: candy blue 85 z28

Engine: 305 tpi LB9

Transmission: 700r4 crazy beefed up one

Axle/Gears: ones with teeth

in my 85 it runs behind the intake below the dist. bolted to the heads where the ground straps mount. but i have since removed it all and tossed it in the trash. much cleaner now.
