stock ignition

Greeting's,
I'm hoping this the right section to ask this. I have a stock 1989 350tpi iroc for which I have bought ac delco rapidfires, cap and rotor. Which spark plug wires should I use? Should I buy the ac delco 7mm ones or 8mm made by other brands?

Thanks,
Gerry

You can get Packard wire (AC/Delco) in either 7mm or 8mm. High silicone content jackets and resistance wire are probably best for street use. Make sure you use brass or stainless terminal tips and spark plug clips. Apply a dab of silicone grease in the inside rim of each wire boot (at both the spark plug and distributor ends) and spread it around to seal the connections from moisture and dirt.
