Another Cam Question....(Did Search)

Guy's I know yall probably get alot of these question's but I'm completely lost on the whole "Cam Selection" thing...I know yall need to know the Comp. Ratio, Head's, and Etc..But Im really not shure about those things...I will tell yall what I know and if yall would....Tell me how to determine what the Head's are and I'll get that back to yall as well....

I want a STREET CAR....But a BAD one

'84 Camaro Z28
Turbo 350 Tranny
383 Stroker
Carborated
Edelbrock Performer Manifold
Forged Bottom End
Plan on getting new Piston's, Suggestion's?
Getting Roller Rockers, What do yall Suggest?
Getting New Gear's in Rearend...

(My Buddy say's the Head's look stock, But I will have Headwork done to them, I was told it didnt matter what head's you have as long as they have headwork done to them they all end up the same....Is this true...?)

That's really all I know about the thing...I bought it off a Guy and Really havent had time to get in touch with him and find the Specs. out...Let me know if yall need anything more to help me out I will do my best to find what yall need.....Thanks.....

I also plan on TurboCharging this motor...So If thats a Factor in Deciding.....there ya go....

Dont buy the performer. Get yourself an RPM or an Air Gap RPM.
All heads are not the same with some work. Heads are where the power is made. Dont cheap out.

What pistons you need depends on what you are doing. You need to make sure you have the right pistons for the rods and crank. Also you need to make sure you have your compression ratio right. Dont rely on domed pistons for compression. Build with flattops, or even better a slight dish piston, and small chamber heads.

On a very healthy 383 stroker, you dont want stock heads. Go aftermarket. There are many choices, and its really impossible to say what the best is. I would let your money dictate that. Buy the best heads you can get.
