thanks
thanks
My '82 had a CFI 305 in it when I bought it. Wasted two seasons trying to polish that turd before I finally upgraded to TPI.
So many things wrong with CFI...first, your hardware is old enough to buy beer now and the bushings are getting worn. Try to keep both TBs balanced. ECM is dog slow and can barely manage fueling and spark curves.
As for your suspension, measure the OD of the front and rear swaybars and then check in the suspension forum.

Anybody that says Cross-fire injection is not good, has no clue at all how to work on them. Its amazing how many morons say they are junk, when all they need is the simplest of tuning. Just make sure the TB's are sync'd and you have no vacuum leaks. My 82 TA intake was in the trunk taken apart in a million pieces for 10 years. I put it together, balanced the TB's (you need a water manometer), and it now has a rock solid idle and enough power to run with an L69/5-speed car.

So...borrowing a few words from you...anybody who says they can make good, reliable power with CFI is a moron.
Post your CFI dyno sheet and prove me wrong.
