ok i've read some where(and i can't remember where)about plugging a hole where the waterpump mounts to the block.the hole i'm talking about is on the(this a 89 350 by the way)passanger side of the block right below the bottem mounting bolt hole for the waterpump.has any one done this and did you have any problems by doing this

Why would you do that. Im not being a smart***, I just cant figure out the reason.

 

the coolant that goes through this coolant passage doesn't go through the wasterpump,it's supposed to direct all of the coolant through the waterpump
