Funny whistling/squeaking
I started her up this morning, let it warm up for about 5 minutes and then let-er-rip down my street since I was late for school. Well, when its accelerating quickly, or even just free-revving quickly it squeaks! I think it might be my injectors, or this exhaust leak thats been getting progressively worse...
When I got to school I had about 2 minutes to have a look at what was making the noise, so with the motor on in neutral i revved it and it sounded liek the noise was coming from the exhaust, but it was pretty loud on the left side of the motor so I couldnt really tell where it was coming from.
Should I run some injector cleaner through it? I'm already replacing the exhaust with a Pacesetter catback.
TIA.

Check you powersteering fluid level. Injectors aren't going to sqeal. Exhaust isn't really going to sqeal, it will click and tap like the injectors. Check your belts also.

I was thinking it might be exhaust due to the fact that I have a HUGE leak and I was thinking that the hole might be shaped so that it whistles? Whatever the case is, it went away when i drove home, its most likely the belts.
thanks.

And it only did it while cold... and only while the engine was loaded and accelerating. I'ts probably the belts thanks for the input all.

Betcha its your belt(s). Its a common problem. If its V-belts, just replace them, they are dirt cheap. If its a serpy belt, try some belt dressing after you check the tentioner.
