Just wondering if could get a few opinions on what my 1988 L98 GTA would run in the 1/4 mile.

* L98 350
* 3.73 posi
* 1 3/4" SLP headers
* Edelbrock catback
* Ported upper plenum
* Crane HI-6 ignition
* Goodyear GSC tires
* All free mods

What do think my next mod should be?

I have all the stuff you have done and more but I have 2.77 gears and I ran a 14.2 on street tires with a 2.19 60ft. Lots of spin!!

A higher stall converter... about 2800 with those gears would be fine. If you have a manual tranny, then look into things like new cylinder heads and camshaft. Parts would run about $1500, but it would be a great way to boost up HP/TQ.

------------------
1984 z28 w/ a 357 cu in. monster engine which is looking like the posterchild for Edelbrock with the exception of the Holley 750vac... all the suspension stuff... 9-bolt posi disk is in...
