Who has the worst gas mileage?

I don't think I do but it's not great either. I am getting 125 miles on this tankfull. Usually it's around 150-160 miles per tank. I just recently swapped from MAF to MAP too.

Lately I have been geting around 150 on a tank. I usually get about 175 but I live less than 2 miles from school and make that short trip 4 times a day so the engine is always cold and never has a chance to warm up. Sucks for gas mileage and wear.

sweet Jeez, I drove from just north of Los Angeles to Las Vegas on ONE TANK!! That's almost 350 miles, lol..

either my car gets extremely good gas mileage or there's some tuning up that needs to be done..

I guess TPI really makes the biggest difference when shooting for mpg

I've played around with this and mine's ridiculously variable. Like if I do mostly in town driving and/or have a lead foot I get 15-17 mpg, but if I'm on the highway I can get 29 almost 30. Average is about 20-23. It's an 89 tpi 305 auto with 2.73's and 132000 miles! Oh here's a tip - if you have overdrive and a small gear ratio (like me) I've found that the faster you go on the hwy the better the mileage (at least up to 80 or so as far as I've checked - gotta watch those troopers!) so if you're only doing 55-60 on the hwy you'll get around 24-25 mpg but step up to 70-75 and you can get almost 30 that's how mine is.

I get about 25MPG when I am cruising on the highway and not planking on it. But that rarley happens!!! All I know is work is 25mins away and it cost me over $100 a week for gas. I need a ***** for a second car HAHAH. My 1984 2.8 S-10 gets 16MPG. It wouldn't be so bad if it actually could get out of it's own friggin way. What where they thinking putting that motor in a truck HAHAH.

God, some of your guys mileage is terrible! Something is definitely not tuned right.

If I can get 19mpg city out of an EQjet, running with an intermittent rich exhaust code, you guys should be able to do better with your fancy fuel injection systems

I get around 11 in the city and 13 on the highway. So about 100 to 130 on a tank is about right

Heh, I -think- I get about 215 a tank. I just filled my tank a few days ago and reset the trip odometer, and it's at 98 miles now..and I have used a little over a quarter of the tank. Then again, I haven't been driving as fast as I usually do...

I used to get close to 200 a tank, sometimes over, but now all I can muster is 150 to 170 miles per tank, what's that, like 12.5 MPG I think.

I can definetly say giving your car a tuneup makes a world of difference in milage, on my 3.1 I drove 225 miles and still have 1/4 a tank, on the 2.8 I was lucky to get 200 to a full tank, really crappy for a 2.8!

I pretty sure I do. This is the first "muscle" car I've ever owned and I am reliving my childhood. So that means that my 1988 Firebird will pass everything......except for a gas station.
