Nitrous or a Cam that is the Question?

I have enough money to get a cam (or)an
Edelbrock preformer RPM NOS system,
What should i get? How crapy is the stock
cam on L98at's. Will nos make my motor
run hotter when I use it.please help..

Cam. Definately a cam.

They make cams that are better than stock, and work even better with nos, so maybe you should check into those.


This is just personal opinion, but I'm not too fond of nos.. Sure it's cheap, and gives you rather impressive power gains, but it's hell on the motor.

Axle/Gears: 3.27
you will melt those cast pistons like butter if it isn't dialed in absolutely correct what do you have done to the car?consider other things to make it quicker there is really no reason to upgrade a cam if the intake is stock look at gears a converter if it's auto afpr or decent chip on a stock motor those mods will help you more than a camshaft will

duh i guess i should of looked at your sig first go with the cam the lt4 is a nice piece very cheap also it was a pain in the *** before i figured out how to dial it in correctly or zz9 is supposed to be decent as well
