I have a 90 iroc 305.
Im getting really frustrated and need some fellow f-bod help

Car was running fine until the day before i took it off the road.
I was driving down a road and it died. as i was coasting it kinda made a few pop sounds and just started back up again on its own.

So it did that here and there for the next day till i took it off the road.

Now with it off the road and a pending sale on the car. i cant figure out the problem, it will start when it wants to and shut off when it wants to.

When the iggnition is just on not trying to start,
i hear a click/click from like my coil and my coolent box? or what ever its called.

when im in the car and its clicking back and forth to coil and coolent box or what ever. everytime it makes the clicking sound, my engine light flashes.

please post anything i should do/replace.

i replaced coil and it didnt help.

Anyway, the only clicking I hear when I turn the ignition on is the fuel pump relay. And it should not keep clicking like you describe. Get a paper clip and see if a code is being thrown.

I tried to get it to throw a code and the engine light stays on solid..

 

Still need help....
