Clunk from front passenger side when braking

When I use the brakes a little harder than normal I hear what seams to be a shift or clunk sound that I can feel slightly in the pedal. My buddy in the passenger seat can also feel it. I changed the struts/brakes about 6 months ago and the strut mounts looks fine.
BALL JOINTS
I've never changed these, is there an easy way that I can tell if they're gone?
Engine mounts?...Can I test these some way.
Tranny mount is good and all rubber bushing are lubbed and look fine...
Thanks for your help
