codes 14 and 15

My boss has a 84 305 H.O. T/A. His fan wasn't working properly so I told him he needed a new fan switch. When he changed the fan switch he also changed the sending unit. The problem is that the fan turns on and off when it is supposed to, the gauge is indicating temp properly, but he gets an intermittent code 14 and 15 which I believe is a low voltage and a high voltage problem. I don't know what to suggest to him. Hope you can help!

Thanks,
Mark
