holds at 3,000 rpm after 85mph?
ok guys im not sure if this a governer or not but when my speedo reads 85mph (which is actually about 75mph because of my 3:42 gears in the rear) my car holds a 3,000 rpm until it reaches 105mph and then it starts cutting out fuel. it sortof sound and feels like a rev limiter once i reach 105mph.
do i need a chip to override this or what do i do to fix it

Your car "probably" has a 'speed limit" or Fuel Cutoff MPH that is not allowing it to run faster.
This was programed into the chip because of the tires the factory used. The tires are/were not rated for a faster speed so the factory limited the speed to "protect" the consumer.
Get yourself soem "Z" rated tiresand have the limit removed from the chip.
BTW, you WEREN"T on a public throughfare going that speed were you?

will the speed limiter do anything at 85 tho, i would think that maybe that is either something wrong with the torque converter or maybe just the way it works...
