86 iroc with 230,000 is it worth it

the body's not the best or the interior, but it runs. is it worth 1200. i'm afraid because of the mileage factor please help give me insight

Tell 'em to cut the price in half and then try to talk 'em down a little more. A car with 230,000 miles on it is trouble just waiting to happen. All the moving parts will have so much wear on 'em after that many miles that they've all just gotta be waiting to break.

Its a parts car! and you can probably get the money back especially if it a TPI.

86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!

I payed $1700 for my 86 IROC, w/ only 86k miles, body was in great shape except a dent in the drive side fender. So like everyone else says look elsewhere.
