Trick Flow Twisted Wedge vs. Fast Burns

I am caught been 2 pairs of heads!!!! I can either get new Fast Burns or GOOD used TFS Twisted Wedge G2 heads. I have a carbed motor and am putting cam in at the same time Ido the heads. Help me out, which would you buy. The Fast Burns are $800+shipping and the TFS are $600 (local).

The Trick Flows are a bit complicated. You have to get special length pushrods than most SBC heads even if you use stock rocker arms(check out their website if you don't beielve me). That's added expense ($100 or so) and "wait time" for parts to arrive. My brother just went through this for his 87' GTA.

I don't beleive the Fastburns require special order parts to make them ready for prime time.

Just something to consider that has nothing to do with performance. The Trick FLows work great once you have all the necessary parts to install them. I have no personal experence with the Fastburns.

TF flow better and they are cheaper for you to get. So as long as they are in good shape I think the choice is obvious.

They come w/ the special length pushrods and I have to get the Rocker arms though.

You'll need a different intake for the fastburns as the ports/bolt pattern doesn't align.
