Problem
'90 TA GTA for the car...When I floor it or whale on it it seems to have good responce through half the range but then it seems like it stops for a sec. and kicks back in. It's kinda irritating cause I know it slows me down. Anyone ever had this problem or know how to fix it?

what RPM does this start to happen??
3500+??
my first guess is lack of fuel delivery.
cause if its fine in low RPM and not when fuel consumption is most prevelent (high RPM) then thats whered Id check first.
-Injectors
-all fuel lines, check fuel rails for any leaks
-all electrical wires on TB and fuel injectors
and your electric fuel pump.
that dont work come back and wait for someone smarter than I ..
they usually rise from there holes and decide to help out
am I not right guys? :hail:
or It could be something simple as misfiring or not firing on a certain cylinder ..
pull the plugs, check plug wires and examine your distributor for anything out of place.

check your injector resistance....you could have a bad injector like I did. from searching on here....the main thing i noticed was that most everyone that has had injector problems, it was the #7 injector that was bad.
