Hello

At what point do you need to change the stock fuel pressure?
If you injectors can flow enough (and is under 85% DC ), there is no need for higher fuel pressure right?

You need to increase fuel pressure after you can no longer program teh fuel map to provide adequate WOT fuel without the injctors going static and/or leaning out the mixture. Then, and only then, should you increase the fuel pressurem and only while you're waiting for the new, larger injectors that you've ordered to arrive. Then you can return the fuel pressure to normal.

Without a good O° and EGO meter to read the sensor, and a chassis dyno or controlled track to run the engine, guessing the correct fuel pressure is a real crap-shoot.

What if you have a selection sitting in your shed/garage/downstairs, or have a selection between 'Darth' and 'Vader'? Do you swap injectors or go out for a joy ride?

O.K.

As long as you are not going lean, and the injectors are under 80% DC, you should have adequate fuel pressure.

That being stated, if you have to repair/replace a regulator anyway, it makes sense to install an adjustable just so you can have some control. Chances are fairly great, however, that you'll find that the stock setting is most appropriate.
