HI i have a 88' camaro with a 2.8 v6 in it and am having a few troubles with it. for one it seems to be loseing fuel pressure even when driving. every time you try to start it up even if it was running about an hour ago you have to wait and pump the gas till the fule gets back to the throddle body. Also after a while driving it say 10 mins and you let the engine go back to idle it will kill....any ideas? the service engin soon light reads 54.... also im not sure if they are related but my brake lights are very dim? when the lights are on you can barely see the change from running tail lights to brake lights, and my overhead interior light doesn't work.???....im starting to think that it might be a bad ground but im not sure....assitance will help greatly

 

Sounds more like a charging problem?

New alternator, check the grounds/voltage output etc...
