A little advise??
A little advise??
I have a 1992 Chevy C1500 5.7L
When I start the engine..it runs fine, I get on the hiway, and it runs fine...
But...after its all warmed up, and I am stopped at a light in drive...the engine will give a miss every now and again, it recovers and runs smooth for a few...then it misses a little worse..smooths out and idles fine for a bit...this keeps on happening until the engine cant recover and it stalls.
I throw it in park and she fires right up....
This is what I have done so far...with no results
New:
Fuel filter
Plugs gapped to .035
Wires 8mm Autolite
Cap and Rotor
Temperature sensor
Thermostat
I have cleaned the throttle body with Valvoline throttle body cleaner
Removed and cleaned the Idle Air Control valve
Checked for vacuum
Any ideas?
BTW I am new to this board, but was told to come here cause you guys know your stuff....

Welcome, but...

I'd suggest you spend time over on the TBI forum.
Sorry, but rules are rules.

Seeing as how this is non-thirdgen related, it will probably be locked soon. However, I can say that it is either your plugs/wires/cap or your injectors. I had the same thing happen to my 87 camaro and it turned out to be an injector.
