LT1 heads with 1.6 ratio roller rockers?

I have a question about Al Lt1 heads and 1.6 roller rockers. Would i have interference problems with the valve covers running them with a XS262S .477/.488 cam? Will centerbolt and LT1 valve covers interchange? What are my options, i haven't seen any tall centerbolt valve covers.

Thanks

I think it depends on what type/brand of rockers you go with. Check with the LT1 guru's on camaroz28 to be sure. Many of them run the ProMagnums and the GM performance parts LT4 rockers under the stock covers. Although I too have not seen any tall centerbolt valve covers, all of the aftermarket ones have additional amounts of clearance under them. They don't have all the webbing and supports that the stockers do. I have noticed that companies are starting to mention this in their product description as well.

Ok cool thanks! I did see a site where they had to cut the webbing/supports up to fit some comp Pro Magnum widebody rockers.

Does anybody know if the valve cover rails, are raised compared to standard perimeter valve covers.

Im using proform 1.6 aluminum rockers. They fit find, just had to take some pliers and bend the valve cover webbings, took about 5 minutes per valve cover, fits like a dream.

I imagine so, only difference between the lt1 and l98 valve covers I believe, is the oil check is on the passenger side and the breather valve is on the passenger on the lt1 covers. Not sure on what else, because I have rarely seen an l98 in person. I imagine they would fit.
