92 RS dies after starting

I know i have asked this question before but i didnt get alot of info. I have a 92 RS 305 TBI. After I start my car it revs up to 1500 rpm and it dies. It usually tries to stay alive, sometimes it does and sometimes it dont. It didnt use to do it that much, only when I turned up my beats while my car was off. Recently I got all MSD cap & rotor, blaster coil, 8.5 superconductor wires. Also I put on March power & amp underive pulleys. I have been runing it hard lately and also had my beats on. Now everytime I start it, it wants to die. Anyone know why its doing this or had this happen to them. Give me some input! Thanks

My guess is that the under drive on the altenator is killing the motor, especially when your "beats" are on, you may have killed the altenator just as well, check to see which alternator you have.

A bad alternator wouldn't give you the symptoms you mentioned, but you could get it tested to make sure its good. Make sure you have a good battery to start with. If it revs for a few seconds and then dies then check your fuel pressure.

Well I changed my fuel filter today. (Knew that was not the prob but it needed to be changed.) Could of made some diff. Well i adjusted the idle up to 1000rpm in park and its been runing good ever since. I dont see any prob with the idle being 1000rpm in park. Anybody know something i dont know about that?
Thanks
