SBC 350 bearing question.
I'm trying to figure out which bearings I need to pick up:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...evite+chevy+v8
My crank is cut .01" over. Are those what I want? Someone said there are varying types for the 350 and that I have to make sure I get the right ones (like different shells and flanges where the bearings meet)
Also, I can't find rod bearing sets (.01) on summit, just rod bearing sold each.
I've got a standard mid 70's Gen I truck block 350, stock rods and mains. Anyone know what parts numbers I need (.01" over)
Thanks

I would not suggest using those in a motor with stock rods. They're inappropriate for such an application.
Use these instead.
Performace bearings often do not come in sets, but rather individually.
If you consider your bearing size to be .010" under, rather than .01" under, you'll find it easier to read the catalogs.

Or .01" over...
Pistons and rings are "over" sized. Crank journals and bearings are "under" sized.
The bearings RB suggested, quantity 8, are what I have coming (except in standard size). Arrived at the UPS Denver metro dock last night.

Interesting. Do a summitracing.com "key word" search on "oversize bearing" and see what comes up.

Roller rockers?
At this point I'm just going to use the part # on the back of the current bearings to see what the hell I used before. All I know is I got my main and rod bearings for like 55$ total last time around as sets.
