whats the difference between the stock 305 intake and 350 intake manifolds?

are they the same? do the 350 intakes have bigger ports?

What 350 are you talking about? The only 350 that came in f-bods was the L98. I am pretty sure the 305 and 350 TPI inductions were identical. I know for a fact that all TBI intakes for LO3's and LO5's were identicall. Other than that it is too hard to say without knowing what kind of stock 350 we are dealing with. There were about 329874384658465 (or around there) versions of the 350 produced over their 50+ year production span.

Your info under your avatar says you have a carb'd 305. So if a carbed manifold is what you are talking about, a carb'd 350 was never put into a third gen.

oh ya, sorry, i shoulda mentioned its not from a thirdgen. its actually from a suburban. but anyway, i know my carb will fit good on it since the top of it does look kind of like my old 305 one...

Canadian LG4 intakes were cast iron, L69 were aluminum. The US aluminum LG4's were the same as the L69.

The aluminum intake was better than the typical cast iron 350 intake. I haven't seen the cast iron LG4 intakes personally, so I don't know how good or bad they are.

Typically, the intake performance can be improved by some gasket matching and general clean-up. Unless you're "building' this 350, you don't "need" a better manifold, but the aftermarket types typically do a little better than the factory cast iron types.
