I was thinking of getting K&N air filters. I understand my car takes two of em, does anyone have any idea how much they would cost if i went to Pep Boys, AutoBahn, or AutoZone??

Hey u could K&N - just about anywhere - shouldnt cost that much!!!
U seem to have a virgin - me too - i have mailed u - mail back - and we could talk about some stuff - we both seem kinda new to cars - well atleast camaro's!!!

Don't waste you money on k&n unless you like to clean filters every week.

 

huh?? whats this supposed to imply?

FYI when the K&N's get dirty they work better. and to our advantage you can clean them and not have to go out and buy a new filter. Reduse, REUSE, Recycle K&N says to clean them every 50,000 miles, so unless you drive 50k in a week, i wouldnt worry about the cleaning, which takes a half hour to do anyway.
you can get them from summit or jegs.. check your local speed shop too.
