I had a question on how to remove the AC compressor pulley on my 350 TPI, Ive read that it needs to be discharged, and Its impossible to take it to anyone to have it discharged( lower ends gone). Needing to remove it, one of the last things I need to do before I pull the Engine/Tranny for a rebuild. I also did a search and came up with nothing much. Thanks!

 

Is it possible to just tie it up out of the way like over onto the inner fender?

 

That's what we did when we pulled the 2.8 out of my car. he might have a clearance problem with an 8 cyl. Depends on where the hoses and tubes end up when he moves the compressor.
