Do I need both wiring hook ups for A/C compressor?
Well I had to get a new compressor and the one I have only has a hook up for the double bladed connection. In my Helm manual it says the other wire is a "power feed connector" - what does that mean? The compressor has nowhere to hook up this power feed connector - do I need a different compressor? Thanks a lot for any help

The big two prong flat bladed connector (usually has a diode in the plug) is for the compressor clutch. The small one is a safty pressure switch to shut 'er down if pressures get out of hand. I'm not sure how it's wired up (Whether jumping the two pins will kick it on, orjust leaving it disconnected...)
I'm not recommending anything because if you defeat a safty device........ prolly could be done though.
