Probs With AC
Probs With AC
Just recently, whenever I turn on my AC it blows the AC/Heater fuse. Does this fuse control the entire AC/Heater control panel or just the fan speed switch? Any help would be appreciated.
I haven't tried moving the lever past AC yet. I believe, it blows the fuse immediately when I move the lever over to max AC. I haven't really had the opportunity to mess with it much since it starting blowing the fuse. Will do some more investigating and get back.
Well, I turned on the AC again to see when exactly the fuse blows. However, this time the fuse did not blow, but smoke started coming thru the vents (in the middle just above the controls). I can hear the AC kick in like its supposed to, but there is no air coming out out the vents. Could it be the fan motor has burnt up? Or a bad fan speed switch? I'm thinking bad blower fan cuz of the smoke. Anyone have any ideas?
