lopy idle
got a 91'Z-28 5.7L, while driving last week the car started to idle rough then finaly lope while idleing and jerking forward when I have it in drive. It feels like a cylinder is missing, I've checked the plugs & wires, cleaned up the distributor cap, still has the problem.several days ago I cleaned my IAC with carb cleaner( might be the problem?) my car was running fine for 4 days after the IAC cleaning & now this. I sprayed throttle body cleaner around the intake manifold to find any leaks, none found. any help will do.
My car does that too, but then it usually stalls out during htat. Its my oxygen sensor. I just need the part and my uncle needs a free weekend. He works 2 jobs, and he's contracting the construction of his own million dollar house. He has no time. And Ive got no ramps to get under my car with.

alittle more info, when I start it up, hot or cold it will idle & drive fine for 30 seconds then it will start to get lopy and missing.
Jack..
You really don't need to elevate your car, soaking in penetrating oil and heating up the threads of the sensor(by running the engine for a couple minutes) will be enough to just get the sensor out with a ratchet.
For some reason I have seen people against using o2 sensor sockets, but they have worked great for me in the past. An open end wrench will work well from below, just put it on from the top before you try.
